Private
School
"The mission of Faulkner University is to glorify God through
the
education of the whole person, emphasizing integrity of character in a
caring Christian environment where every individual matters every day".
The University Church of Christ Annex is
one of the buildings on campus. Faulkner offers a "ONE year"
undergraduate degree to students 23 years or older with 2 years of
undergraduate studies meeting their criteria. The course is
offered at night and
weekends allowing "working" students to complete their degree
in
a short period of time.
Private
School
"the Supreme Court of the State of Alabama has permitted graduates of
Thomas Goode Jones School of Law to practice law in Alabama, upon
passing the Alabama Bar Examination... Faulkner University and Thomas
Goode Jones School of Law intend to gain American Bar Association (ABA)
approval for the law school" although at this date this has
not
yet happened. The lawyers I have known who have graduated
from
Jones have all been good attorneys with out exception.
Additionally their pre bar
course has received high accolades from those who I have known who took
the course and passed the "bar".

Huntingdon
College
Private
School "To
this day the College is closely identified with Methodism, and serves
with distinction as one of the major institutions of the United
Methodist Church." "Since
its founding in 1854, thousands of young men and women have come in
search of wisdom, mingling their lives with some of the great lecturers
and presenters of our time, among them Carl Sandburg, Dean Rusk, James
Dickey, Winton Blount, Henry Kissinger, Beverly Sills, Jane Goodall."
Glenda
attended
one summer
course on campus and we both agree that Huntingdon is one of the
prettiest campuses we have ever seen. Located in the "heart"
of
Montgomery the school awards a number of undergraduate
degrees.
Huntingdon has recently advertised a one year degree completion program.
